Typically, this issue can be resolved by having one person crank the umbrella down while another puts downward pressure on the canopy/ribs to unstuck any tension in the cord that is preventing the umbrella from being cranked properly.

This did not resolve the issue
I attempted this procedure several times and the issue has not been resolved.
The crank is faulty. Please advise if the crank can be replaced. Thanks
